Is Working From Home Right For You? |
By James Martell
I guess I've been spoiled.
You
see, unlike most people, I've never been into working
for someone else. In fact, I've worked from home
for most of my adult life running some type of business
with my wife Arlene.
Arlene
and I take it so much for granted that I thought
I'd share with readers what the pros and cons are
of this lifestyle because if you've been dreaming
of doing this without ever having actually done
it you may be in for some adjustments.

The ShareaSale Think Tank In San Diego |
By James Martell
I've
been fortunate enough to have been invited to Brian
Littleton's ShareaSale Think Tank since he started
doing this in 2006.
When
he scheduled his latest 2 day event in October,
2008 near San Diego, Arlene suggested we make it
a "breakation" by adding an extra day to do some
site seeing in San Diego.
Below is a fun video we put together to
commemorate out trip.

Turn Off The
News If You Want To Succeed |
By James Martell
I guess
I finally had enough.
While
keeping a curious eye on the American election of
Barack Obama, due to its historical nature, I got
into the unfortunate habit of watching CNN.
Then
one day it hit me that woven throughout the reporting
of "news" was the constant "selling" of how "bad"
things are.
So I
stopped watching.

Moving To White Rock Was The Best Move We
Ever Made |
By Arlene Martell
Hi everyone.
Arlene here.
It's
funny how you never really know how life will go.
I was
thinking of how well the kids are doing these days.
And what a great community White Rock has been for
the kid's teen years.
Adam
has a great social network of friends and counselors.
Justin has just been promoted at his job. Shelby
has two jobs and goes to college part time. And
our youngest, Victoria, who is only 13 holds down
her own job at a restaurant and keeps getting promoted
to tasks with more responsibility.

Owning A High Ranking Website Is Easier
Than You Think |
By James Martell
In this
article I want to give readers a feel for what's
involved in publishing a website. I know that many
of you have no background or training in this area.
And because of that you may be thinking it's "rocket
science", which of course it isn't.
And
I would know because I started out life as a carpenter.
But
when I got going online in 1999 there was precious
little training. In fact, the only resource I could
find at the time, other than my friend Shawn Bouchard's
personal coaching, was an eBook by a Medical doctor
from Quebec who had great success marketing a penny
stock investment product.
