Making Memories in Victoria B.C.

I love surprises – and this trip was packed full of them! It was a great weekend away and even though it was only 3 full days, it seemed longer and we got so much sightseeing done.

We arrived at the condo after a beautiful BC Ferry ride through the gulf islands that border the west coast between Vancouver and Vancouver Island. The condo was the top floor overlooking the Victoria harbor and it was the first pleasant surprise.

Why Are My Affiliate Commissions Down?

The panicked e-mails start rolling in every Spring, and this year was no different.

Right around this time, I start receiving messages from affiliate marketers asking “why are my affiliate revenues down?”, or my personal favorite, “I don’t think Google AdSense is paying as much - I think they’ve reduced my commissions.”

Believe it or not, these questions are just normal responses to the market.

You Just Finished Your First Podcast… Now What?

As I've mentioned before, podcasts are a great way for business owners to market their business to a targeted audience.

If you haven't had the pleasure, a podcast is a digital audio or video file that is issued to subscribers automatically. Still confused?

Let's use Arlene's EpilepsyMoms.com podcast as an example. In this case, Arlene records information, a speech, or a story, to be sent to the individuals on her list. Because they had to subscribe to her podcasts, Arlene knows that each person is interested in what she has to say before she says it.
