By James Martell
In part one of this article, From
Road Trip to Marketing Video?, I talked about how
a leisurely drive unexpectedly turned into a marketing
opportunity.
Although I had only planned to take
a few action shots of my car, 15 minutes worth of
video recording turned into something wonderful.
My friend Phil Watkins used the footage to create
a great video that I later uploaded to YouTube.

day, listening to the radio. The host was interviewing
a guy from Halifax named Dave Carroll, frontman
for the Atlantic Canadian group Sons of Maxwell.
Dave was talking about a song he
wrote that was quickly gaining popularity. The tune
was a tongue-in-cheek account of a bad experience
the band had with United Airlines in 2008, where
they witnessed Dave’s Taylor guitar being tossed
around by a baggage handler.

Kit Car Birthday Makeover, Part II |
By James Martell
If you tuned in to my last newsletter,
you already know that KitCarConnection.com is getting
a makeover. Even with 15,000 unique visitors per
month, I decided it was time to freshen up the site
and bring in even more traffic.
The website initially developed out
of my love for old cars – particularly the 1965
Shelby Cobra. It probably won’t surprise you to
hear that my obsession with cars goes deeper than
the website and my
1965 Shelby Cobra replica.
