ShareASale Think Tank 2009 - October 23rd-25th
Newport Beach, California By James Martell In 2007, I was lucky enough to join 60 other top affiliates and 12 ShareASale merchants at the gorgeous Gainey Ranch Property in Scottsdale Arizona. The merchants were able to present their offers and receive valuable feedback about their websites and business practices. All in all, the 2007 event is a wonderful opportunity for me to learn and share brainstorming sessions with fellow affiliates as well as merchants whose ultimate goal is for all of us to help each other.
And the best part of this, was that it was held in the beautiful, warm, desert landscape of Arizona. What a wonderful opportunity to enjoy fine dining, fine weather and fine companions. 2008 was just as beautiful, where the ShareASale Think Tank was held in the dynamic and captivating Grand Del Mar located in the rolling San Diego hills. This was also a terrific five-star resort and we arrived like most other attendees the day before. Some of the great activities to be had at this wonderful resort include enjoying a round of golf on the Tom Fazio designed course or, like Arlene and I decided to spend the day at Sea world. The Grand Del Mar is truly a wonder to be experienced. From the curving estate like driveway to the sparkling water fountain and majestic palm trees. The Grand Del Mar is certainly a grand hotel where every whim and fancy is taking care of.
The 2008 event (see video) saw twice as many merchants involved. Including some big names such as ChecksUnlimited.com, PlumberSurplus.com and RandomHouse.com to name just a few. Everything at this event was truly five-star and Brian Littleton the CEO of ShareASale.com definitely did not spare any expense. Every meal was practically a five course event. The welcoming reception held on the back patio that gave a panoramic view of the golf course and manicured lawns allowed for great strategizing and dialogue between affiliates and merchants. This year in 2009 ShareASale Think Tank will be held in the beautiful Pelican Hill Resort which is a Newport Beach California. The ShareASale Think Tank is an annual event that brings together the top clients of ShareASale as well as up-and-coming affiliates and merchants.
This event is designed as an opportunity to share successes, stories and other tips and strategies to help both merchants and affiliates excel through ShareASale. I encourage you to have a look at the photos on the Pelican Hill website to really get an exciting image of what you can expect if you choose to apply to the 2009 ShareASale Think Tank. You should be here, whether you are just starting out as an affiliate or even if you are a seasoned vet like me. Arlene and I will be there, and we would love to see as many of you there as possible. Those photos at the Pelican Hill site have certainly made me excited to get there as quick as I can, and I'm sure they'll do the same for you. So, head on over to ShareASale and put in your application. As it says on the ShareASale website, everyone is welcome and everyone is asked to put their best foot forward and they are just looking for great people were willing to share their insights, experiences and knowledge with others whether you are a beginner or even a super affiliate. If you don't get there this year I certainly hope to see you there next year. If you're serious about your affiliate business, you need to get onto the ShareASale radar screen.
