Back to Las Vegas we go! Expecting over 4,000 attendees, the Affiliate Summit will be held January 17th through January 19th at the Rio Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. I’m really excited about this! If you haven’t already made your plans to go, you best hustle up or you’ll be left out. If you do already have your tickets, I want to give you some tips on how to greatly improve your chances of capitalizing on getting as much out of this event as possible. Just What We Needed! Breakation @ Whistler, B.C.

James & I had been toying with the idea of flying south for some warmer weather before the Christmas Holiday rush, but ended up spending several days in Whistler, BC on a mini-vacation. We call these get-a-way’s “breakations”, because we really do get away, but still bring out our laptops to catch up on special projects etc. The relaxed atmosphere of this beautiful resort town gave us the needed breathing room to really settle back, relax but still work when we wanted to and catch up on some reading in my case.

My Bags Are Packed, I’m ready to go!  I went! – I’m Back From the Affiliate Convention in LA

Earlier in the month, December 3-4th I, along with Phil Watkins from WestPoint Promotions, took in the Fall 2009 Affiliate Convention in Los Angeles. This new conference in the affiliate industry kicked off in the summer of 2008 in Denver, Colorado. This event was held in the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Beverly Hills, California.

Kit Car Website – Plus Ways to Keep Website Content Fresh and Budget Friendly

A few months back, I did a little three part series in the Newsletter about migrating the kit car website from the Drupal content management system over to SocialGo, a social media based CMS. The move went relatively smooth thanks to the help of my daughter Shelby, and son Justin and their lightning fast keyboard skills. The biggest part of making the move was to manually move almost 300 articles from one content management system to the other.
